How it Works: Using Tools
LotWin's user-friendly tools make it easy for anyone to get to grips with lottery analysis.
Once you've identified a selection of numbers using the entry reduction, you can print, store
and alter your numbers however you like.
How does it work?
You'll get the most from LotWin by becoming familiar with its tools. There's a tool telling
you which filters have returned the most winning numbers, and a tool which allows you to
bulk-print your lottery tickets. You can save your own filters, national lottery information,
and winning numbers. LotWin's tools are explained in the Help manual you'll receive when you
order. But here's a quick summary of some of the main functions.
Building and editing lines
Once you've built up a selection of lines using your own filters, they are stored in the
Line Editor. This tool allows you to save groups of entries, edit lines and compare
them to the latest lottery results. Use this tool alongside the Line Analyser to see which
filters apply to any of your lines.
Improving your filters
Use the 'Winning' tools to identify filters (criteria) which have defined previous
winning lines. These tools analyse the latest draw results to provide sets of numbers, single numbers,
or filters (like 'odd numbers only') which would have won the most jackpots. For example, use the
Winning Filters tool to see which filters would have generated the most jackpots for
the last ten draws. You can use this information to improve your own filters.
Using the Database
LotWin already stores information on your lottery (including a ticket template for printing) and
data on previous draws. You can add filter files and sets of entries or lines. LotWin also allows you
to export this information in plain text for printing or reviewing.
What's next?
When you start using the LotWin system, it's important to stay up-to-date with the latest results and
adapt your entries accordingly. This ensures that your entries always give you the best possible chance
of winning a prize.
